At Vivo Siargao Resort, we take pride in caring for our guests and being the preferred choice of stay in Siargao.

Our journey began in 2007 when Roger and Lori Calvo, the passionate, vibrant, and newly retired property owners thought to build their rest house with a couple of comfortable rooms (for when the family visits). Having a house by the beach and getting away from the city was a retirement dream. Soon enough, those couple of rooms turned into 14 rooms, a pool, and movement space to create an oasis of tranquility within the bustling General Luna, Siargao. Our onsite restaurants also provide Filipino comfort food and hearty snacks to further encompass the idea of home away from home.

Growing up, the Calvo family would spend the holidays traveling to different countries and staying in all sorts of accommodations. Their favorite and most memorable stays would be the smaller properties, where there was more personalized guest experience. With their travels, Roger and Lori know that unique and personalized touches bring lifelong and memorable experiences on your vacation.

These days, you may find Roger and Lori walking the grounds or swimming in the pool at Vivo Siargao—if they’re not out of the country spending and enjoying time with their grandkids. Their daughter, Ava leads the amazing Vivo team now that they are fully enjoying retirement.

You may find Ava in the kitchen baking, working in the office, or doing yoga at our onsite movement space, Lihok. Being a foodie and surf and massage enthusiast, she can give you tips on where to eat, surf, and where to get a massage.
